Processing of Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund, we will generally process your refund within 7 days or less. Your credit card or PayPal account will be credited with the full amount you have paid. Although we try our best to process refunds in a timely manner, PayPal or your financial institution can take up to 3 weeks to reflect the refund in your bank or PayPal account.

Billing, Termination, Cancellation and Refund on Monthly & Yearly Subscriptions

The Umojami products are offered on monthly and yearly subscriptions, which entitle the original purchaser access to the products for a period of exactly 1 month/1 year from the date of purchase. 

The purchaser agrees to pay all fees in effect when incurred. You will be billed for your subscription in advance at the time of purchase and the subscription will automatically renew indefinitely until explicitly cancelled. If you cancel your services, your cancellation takes effect on your next billing cycle. This means we won’t be able to refund you for early contract cancellation.

If you have a question about charges made to your account, please contact us immediately. If the charges were made in error, we will immediately credit your account or credit card account for the appropriate amount. 

Umojami has a zero-tolerance policy for chargebacks. Any customer who disputes a credit card payment that is found to be valid will be permanently blacklisted and barred from use of the Service. Any past due fees and costs will be sent to collections. If our collection efforts fail, unpaid debts will be reported to all available credit reporting agencies. If Umojami terminates your account because of a violation of our terms of service, Umojami will not refund any portion of your license fees.

Courses and products and mercantile sold by Umojami as raising funds to support the community. From books, T-shirts, Cups, Pens, Pencils and other learning accessories to Subscriptions to applications and any services provided under or paid plans.

Our services come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you don't like the product and don't wish to use it, feel free to send us a message and we'll refund the full amount.

Cancelling my subscription services

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Just send us an email and we’ll make sure that your subscription is cancelled and that you don’t get billed on the next billing cycle. 

When you cancel your subscription, and your current subscription expires, your product license will no longer be active. This means that if the product license is no longer active, you will lose access to all future software updates including:

  • Important Security Updates
  • Performance Improvement Updates
  • Feature Enhancements 
  • New Product Features 
  • Latest Product Versions

This also means that you will lose access to our 24/7 customer service team. So when you need our help with your website, we will unfortunately no longer be able to assist you. 

Cancellations, Terminations and Refunds

You can cancel your Umojami App subscription at any time. Just send us an email and we’ll make sure that your subscription is cancelled and that you don’t get billed on the next billing cycle. 
When you cancel your subscription, and your current subscription expires, your product license will no longer be active. This means that your mobile app will no longer work. 
Once cancelled, your subscription cannot be re-activated. You will need to make a new purchase if you would like to launch a mobile application. Cancellations beyond the 21 day refund period will not result in a refund. 
Refunds are not applicable on rejection of your application from any App Store or marketplace. We offer a 21-day money back guarantee, hence if you cancel your subscription in this period, your request for refund will be approved. However, cancellation of the monthly or yearly plan after this period will not result in a refund.

On-boarding, Review & Publishing Service

The On-boarding, Review & Publishing Service comes with a 21-day money back guarantee. If you change your mind and no longer wish to hire our team to create, configure, customise and prepare your app for publishing for you, feel free to send us a message and we’ll refund the full amount. 

Exceptions

If you initiate the review and/or publishing process of your mobile app during the 21-day refund period following your purchase, then you will no longer be eligible for a refund on your On-boarding, Review & Publishing Service. You will still be eligible for a refund on your initial Umojami App subscription payment assuming your request for refund is made during the 21-day period following your purchase.

Done For You App Service 

21 Day Money Back Guarantee*

The Done For You services comes with a 21-day money back guarantee. If you change your mind and no longer wish to hire our team to create, configure, customise and prepare your app for publishing for you, feel free to send us a message and we’ll refund the full amount. 

Exceptions, Refunds, Terminations

If however, you initiate the start of the project and our team begins to work on your project, then you will no longer be eligible for a refund on your Done For You service purchase. 

For example, if you submit your first Done For You questionnaire 5 days after purchasing, then you will no longer be eligible for a refund as soon as you submit your questionnaire. Your project will be made available for our team to start work on. 

Terminations beyond the refund period or after your first questionnaire is submitted (to initiate your project) will not result in a refund. We process Done For You project phases on a first in first out basis, and our team ensures that our on-going delivery times are kept at a reasonable speed. The speed of final project delivery is dependent on the speed of the Umojami Done For You team and the speed of responses from the customer. Requests for refund due to delays in project delivery will not result in a refund. 

If a project pauses for over sixty (60) days due to your failure to respond to our feedback requests, and if you wish to continue the project, we reserve the right to charge a restart fee of up to the full amount of the Done For You service, to pick up from where we left off. If you wish to cancel the project, payments made are non-refundable and you will not be obligated to make any further payments.

If a project does not start for six (6) months, due to any delay caused on your end, you will be at the risk of losing your service. If after six (6) months, you wish to continue the project, we reserve the right to charge a restart fee of up to the full amount of the Done For You service and the Done For You App. If you wish to cancel the project, payments made are non-refundable and you will not be obligated to make any further payments.
Each one of the 3 phases of the Done For You App project comes with up to two free revisions. Additional revisions beyond the 2 included revisions are billed at $25 USD / revision. If you are not happy with the design concept provided or the service overall, this will not result in a refund. Our team will try their best to work on making the changes you request on each revision until you are satisfied with the result.

I did not receive my refund

Please double check with your bank, PayPal or credit card. Sometimes it can take up to 3 weeks for your financial institution to fully process the refund.

If you have contacted your financial institution and are still unable to solve the problem, please open a new ticket via our Help Desk and our team will assist you.

Shipping returns

To return your products, you should mail your product to the address of the sender for all our services.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

NOTE:
We do not handle refunds for third-party products sold on Umojami. We will assist you to get a refund from the vendor but we strongly advise you read the Terms and Conditions of the vendors store before buying any products.
