Umojami is a creative social media concept to show the creative works done by African creators and inventors. It is a community of anyone who is creative be it in any work of life from music, video production, graphic designs, arts cultural creativity, craftwork, or any creative initiative idea that can be shared with Africa and the world. That is why we decided to put a lot of resources together to support our people and continent who are mostly treated like we do not belong anywhere and the lesser of humans anywhere we go. What are Cowrees?

Cowrees (COW) is a virtual currency only used on Umojami as a reward currency to its creators and creative members to value their work which can be converted into real cash which can be transferred between members of the Umojami village, buy and sell within the community, or cash out as real money in their own local currency.

How do I earn Cowrees (ℂ)?

Our current updated Cowrees reward stands at a value of 500COW to 1USD (ℂ500 - $1) 1USD and is due to changes depending on the activities of the community. You can earn Cowrees by the following engagement within the community.

• Posting a creative idea = ℂ10
• Commenting on a creative idea = ℂ5
• Reacting to a creative idea = ℂ2
• Creating a new story about your community or Africa = ℂ5

We are currently running a promotion still the end of the month for our community members and all new members who join before the end of March 2021 to accumulate more rewards even if their post is not a creative idea or invention. After this period the most rewards will be for creative members and inventors who showcase their skills to Africa and the world.

All other members will continue to earn Cowrees base on our earnings table. We will continue to review Cowrees to make sure all our members benefit the most and it reflects their personal efforts to make Africa great again.
